There has been a lot going on here lately.  Not really any more than other people have going on, but busy for us none the less.  And for some reason, my house has taken a back seat to everything else.  (including this blog!)  You know how when it gets so messy that you can't even make yourself clean it up because you don't know where to start?  That's where I'm at today.  For example - here is a shot of my kitchen

What in the name of all things dishwasher safe has happened in here?!?!
I know this photo is not large enough for you to really get the full effect of the horror, but please note the sink and countertop full of dishes.  Please note the sheer quantity of magnets on the refridgerator that will make any self respecting home owner cringe.  Please note the empty sacks on the floor next to the askew rooster rug.  Note the walmart sacks and old snowcone cup and half eaten rice crispy treat and day planner and empty crockpot all piled on the island.  Gold star to anyone who can find the empty family sized box of poptarts.  I really need to get in there because my sweeet, wonderful, perfect husband does love to come home after a rough day at his stressful job and feel at peace.   But for some reason, after a long day of booster shots for destruct-o-girl and turnanator and errand running in the big city, I am pooped.  Plus if I get off this couch then I run the risk of having to look at this

Will someone reading this please call my mother and tell her the sad, sad state of my home?  Her grandchildren have to live in this dump for pete's sake! Maybe she can come and get my life back in order for me.
I need to go now.  I've depressed myself talking about all this so I need to go eat some cadburry eggs to feel better about the whole thing.

Wish me luck,
Cassie

P.S. If you live in the Booneville area, stay tuned.  I'm hoping to have a give away soon for my local readers.  More info to come

so one time I knew this girl who was really good at dishes. Call me and I'll give you her number. She's so good, she janks guests' plates away while they're still eating. No dish can gather mold in her presence.
